Rusty WhiteTo One and All:

My name is Rusty White, I have been in the trade off and on for over 30 years, I have worked both Union and Non Union . S.A.C. is about all those that work in this trade regardless of your choice to be of either! This is about how you or your loved ones will be treated in your time of need!

Over four years ago I started tracking what was happening to those and their loved ones after being in a accident in our trade. It would make you sick to know how “many” of them were treated. The best figures we have at this time show we loose over 400 a year, this does not count those that lose limbs or are maimed so badly they can no longer provide for their families! In many of the cases the worker thought the “GOOD” company would do the “RIGHT THING” and then the loved ones wound up fighting an insurance company that the “GOOD” company had no control over! And the sad part is many times this was by DESIGN not by accident. And I’m sad to say sometimes the “GOOD” company was “NOT AS GOOD” as he thought!

More and more they contract out the work so they do not have to provide workers comp, or insurance for the worker and his family, or retirement for a large work force there by lowering their overhead and increasing there profits. Then when they let a contract they try and separate themselves from any liabilities! By hiring the lowest bidder and then requiring them to be responsible for safety. When there is an accident they try and force the worker or his family to only have the contractor as an avenue to seek compensation against! Many times knowing the contractor they hired was far below the others on his bid! Also knowing the contractor had a questionable safety record as well as a lacking training program! Now we are seeing the insurance companies and their lobbyist CHANGING your laws to protect them and their PROFITS!!
