P.S. I love my Red Wings for an everyday boot! Comfy, had them about 1 1/2 years but the soles came apart. Posted Image Just about everyone on our crew loves Hoffman boots for climbing.

This should answer your question!

At Hoffman boots, our family owned business motto has been the same from the beginning. Offer a high quality, functional product at a fair price and let that be the basis of our companies future. For almost three decades now, that is what we at Hoffman's have tried to do.

We know that there are a lot of choices for you, the consumer, to choose from in footwear. That's why we spend extra time and research in offering you the best quality materials we can find in each and every pair of Hoffman's boots. We take pride in knowing that every pair of our Hoffman pacs are made here in Kellogg, Idaho with American made components and quality labor. From our high quality, industrial grade waterproof bottoms that resist cracking and premature rebuilds to our exceptional form fitting, oil tanned leather uppers, you can be sure that the boots you are buying have stood the test of time.

If you ever have a question or suggestion, or if you just need help in choosing the right boot for you, feel free to call. Our friendly staff will gladly take the time to get the proper boot for you. Also be sure to look at Hoffman's sure fit guarantee. We want you to feel as confident as we do that when you place an order with us that you'll receive a boot that meets your high expectations. All of us here at Hoffmans would like to thank you for your interest in our boots.

So only their pacs are made in American... That's how most companies are nowadays, Some of their stuff is still American made, but most is outsourced now.

my vote for the carolina 16" is beacause i have to use the climbing boots that i get issued, and those are the best one's that i've been issued.

anybody know of some companies that would give us some to test out i would gladly do it (especially if they're desert tan or sage green)
