AT&T Expands Its Internet 1000 Service in North Carolina

AT&T is continuing to extend deployment of 1 gigabit services, this time in the area of Greensboro, N.C., including parts of nearby Burlington and Alamance County. The AT&T Internet 1000 offering is now available in multifamily properties across North Carolina including Watercourse Apartments and master planned communities like Laurelton Village, the operator says. The company first offered the ultra-fast internet speeds in some parts of Greensboro in mid-2015, which starts at $70/month.

The Greensboro area is one of 44 metros where the AT&T gigabit service is currently available, and the company reports it has plans to reach at least 67 metros.
