i knew you were gonna say that....it was in my truck....for wat i was doin i didnt need it....wasnt hot just made up a broken jumper and yes i know should always wear it but can u honestly say you have always wore yours?

SKID LIDS DONT DO A DAM THING IN THE TRUCK. PUT THE F***KING THING ON YOUR HEAD.

When I took my course and ANY training, the first words out of the instructors mouth was HARD HATS ON ANYTIME, ANYWHERE AROUND A WORK SITE.

It dont matter if its underground, overhead or just beside the truck, PUT THE DAM THING ON
Like Olo said, tell the OSHA man its in the truck and see what happens

I had a Pole break on me dropped me about 20 ft. I was wearing my Hard hat, it fell off as I fell, hit my head on the ladder on the way down. But yes I still wear the damn thing.

No gloves skinin' wire? Around here that'll get ya 3 days off if ya get caught by the safety man. Lot's of the young guys have gone to mechanics style gloves, but I still wear the long gauntlet leathers.

even on the ground??? not connected to a damn thing just air?? lol i use Mustang leather gloves or Tiger Cat leathers
