We just received 600 voice ports from South Dakota. I just wanted to say thanks. We were down to about 50 vps left before we were going to be forced(from what I know) to go to mta's.

WOW!!!! I didn't know there were 600 in any system.

That is cool and I'm glad you got them. We are going full EMTA's now and are not allowing anyone to install VP's in my system anymore.... Make sure you test them before you install them.

I heard that Midcontinent was selling them a $1.00 each, else they went to the landfill. I know of a system that bought many.

I found out today that we have pallets full in the warehouse. Seems they are coming off the walls as fast as they can!!

We are getting rid of all of ours as well.Most of the system has been converted to EMTA's.I am glad we can pull power from EOL's now
