[NUT guy]

I was just put in charge of our EXFO tester at my job. No one knows how to use it but I am suppose to teach myself how to use it to test IPTV problems. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or where I can look to find some how-to training videos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Been a while since I was on there, but I seem to recall the Exfo website had a pile of documents etc.

Watch out for that weak WAN connector on the AXS (used to do xdsl measurements.. otherwise you have to use the other set of cords for pots.. nice eh, 2 sets of cords to bring up the pole with you...).. that connector isnt built very strong. Break it and expect a ~$800 repair bill !

I agree with Dave, Exfo does have a great website and have always been helpful when it comes to tech support, although I have only used their fiber equipement, and not sure about their tip and ring stuff.

I have used both the JDSU and the EXFO. I found that the JDSU is better for testing errors. The EXFO was really unreliable.
