gut strap vs suspenders

which is preferred more the gut strap or suspenders

don't use either but with suspenders you can leave your belt a little lose

Not sure exactly what a gut belt is...(regular tool belt around the waist)?....I use both suspenders piss me off come summer, chaff the burnt shoulders sometimes.....

I've never used suspenders, but I can see the benefits.
I use a Buckingham belt w/ built in gut strap, 10inch back. It also has aux D rings, which is great for me because I like to use 2 straps depending on obstacles and how long I'll be at a location. With the built in gut strap and aux D rings, really makes a nice seat with the second pole strap (I know you're not supposed to do that lol)
