1 bullshit call put in by our contractor for "no dial tone out of the taP" It's doubtful that he even knows what a tap looks like.

was dispatched for sever ingress at a node. I watched it for an hour a few amps away and didn't see a thing. 2 hours later our dispatch said the MTC had switched a card and it's been gone since.

Went to do another call put in for low Mer/ber. Found out last night that the MER/BER/QAM feature on my meter isn't working, i tried again tonight and it's still not working.

swept one amp

Went home for lunch. Had a turkey sandwich with 2 eggs.

Went to a different zone to help a friend that has some digging to do to fix a cli leak and channel 2 problems. Waiting for him now, staying warm.

Waiting for him now you know you post this at 8:30 at night? A little late to be digging don't you think. STS I think Forbins is more dedicated than you.

I know its not CATV related but...

Dug out 3 peds, cleaned out mouse nest in 2, replaced load coil in third, got truck stuck 2x. Replaced 1 NID box, got stuck again, installed 3 single lines, fortunately existing homes with cut thru paths.

yup, luckily I only had 2 eggs :) I'll be done in 14 minutes. Couldn't fix the leak or find it. Dug down about 3 feet and all our lines were surrounded by huge roots. Even if we dug down deeper and found the cable, it would be impossible to get in there to splice it so we're putting it in for new cable.

No I'm not overly dedicated Olo, (More dedication than a slacker, but less than an overachiever :) i just happen to work 2nd shift. 3:30 to midnight. Good times.

Wind storm last night and today. 50+. Hung drops all day long, and gonna do a few tommorow. Monday we had someone shoot our fiber on an easement and had over 9000 customers out. Thank god I wasnt on call, or one of the unlucky ones that had to find it. Some of the guys worked 16 hours...
