Give us a little more info and maybe we can help you out, I am sure there is someone here that has more hours bent over the thing than we want to remember.

No i am not looking for the pipe or the pipe clamp its a handle that you turn and it brings down the crimping head instead of using the red handled hand press

Just that you dont have to carry a separate 'red handled crimper' ?
The red handled crimper also has a sort of torque stop where it clicks out in bypass once the specified pressure is applied .. does the one arm bandit also do that , or is it all just brute force with the lever handle ??

Shoot I don't even have the 4036-25, "red handled crimper", though I asked for one about 5 years ago. I've got the hydraulic crimper with the 4' hose between the pump and the crimping head. That has a pressure bypass as well. I kinda like the look of the mechnical crimper, it's sort of like the Weco 890 for 710's. I bet you just need to feel for a good crimp with that crimper. Nothing worse though than getting a bad crimp on an MS2 because then you are just screwed. Happens to me every once in awhile, the cap won't seat and the pairs are cut but not terminated. Let the cursing begin at that point.
I suppose that is why I like 710 over ms2, not that it does not happen with 710. It seems with ms2 that if you have a bad splice it can hide it better than the 710
