I learned about Line-Man.Com when I noticed a little oval orange sticker on a co-workers truck. So I figured I'd check it out.

I'll gab here a little..........It all started w/ a shirt called "Extreme Linedawg". I had purchased 2 of em from a supervisor in San Francisco and shot one down to WP as a gift. While I was talking to this gentleman he said that he had sold over 500 of em in 6 months. WOW!. Yup I did the math even while talking to him and knew that I could make a shirt just as nice as his. (no pun, he does have a good shirt).

So at christmas time of last year, WP and I knew we had to siit down and think of a brand. With in 5 minutes we had about 15 different names and the Lunatic Lineman kept surfacing to the top. Then came back to CA w/ a simple bus. plan an idea and a schedule to come up w/ our start-up money. We had 3 months to launch this plan.

We made the date and shortly there after I had a brainstorm to sell em on the web. I started to look around for a domain and saw that "line-man.NET" was going to expire in about 30 day's. So instantlly, I got w/ WP and we decided to buy the "line-man.NET" domain as a back up. 30 day's later we got the .COM domain too....

So that's how it got started, but it gets better.

WP and I have a life long friend we grew up w/ that has been designing websites for American Express, Samsung, Cisco, Microsoft and so on few about 5 years. Well he didn't do it all but worked on a team that did it. So I ask Jon-o..."could you help us out on a little website to sell our shirts on".....he agreed! He requested that I come up w/ a site map and summary of what I looking for and that's when it all went down.......What your looking at is basically what I promoted to Jon-O to sell our shirts. He about blew a fuse. I'll never forget those early day's and especially the day's just before launch.

I will alway's remember these words...Bob..it's nothing short of a miracle we got this site up so fast.

So that's how I learned about LINE-MAN.COM

Thanks , Jon-O brewsky

LAMF came into my sugarhouse last year with a long sleeve orange "T" shirt on with the lineman logo on it. I ask where he had gotten it and he very promptly directed me to this site. I sure am glad that he did and also glad that I joined. We got a great bunch of people here. biggrin.gif
