Ask your cousin who was chunked off my roof today, I had to climb out my window but it was worth it. Now he's got his wings.. And broken legs..

Man, the pitchfork is like a son to me! It can stab rats, among other things. Who could have guessed?

I agree , It should be a event for the Olympics.
Chunk a few now and then myself.... cant hardly stay on the ladder afterwards.
The little beggars keep one part of a system so chewed up we almost replace drops on a monthly basis......
Even spliced a feeder due to a customer shooting one off the line with a 22.Gotta love pro-active customers.

Wish we had more customers to help in the fight to keep our plant free of ingress.
Glad to see we have another chunk warrior in here..

A little squirrel came out to play.
Down the span he did run,
to my delight, it was fun....
to flip that rat bastage away.
Squirrel chunking = the most fun you can have without a gun
best squirrel chunk; around 1989 fixing an ingress call, two pole drop across a busy street. The retarded squirrel ran above the strand and wouldn't go near the transformer, so it was basically stuck between me and the transformer. Needless to say, it was barking at me like some miniature doberman on helium, he came charging down the pole, took a leap of faith, missed the strand but grabbed ahold of the RG6 aerial drop. Picture Tim Curry in the movie Home Alone (New York) when he figured out the credit card was reported as stolen...you know how he smiled and they cut away to a scene of the grinch? Well that's about what I looked like at that exact moment.
1. Squirrels are lots of fun
2. Squirrels don't fly very good
3. Squirrels make terrible speed bumps
Who'd'a'thunk it?
A bad day of surfing is still better then any of my best days at work

Hey kong,
Chunkin involves live treerats when you are up on a pole and happen to catch one walking on a span.. You slowly start moving the cable in circular motions until the treerat reaches maximum paw clingability and then you give him one final circle with everything you've got and see how far he can fly... As TCG pionted out, if it is over a busy intersection, the value of the chunk is greater...LOL...
