SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Authorities have found the hit and run driver who slammed into a utility pole in Sacramento overnight knocking out power to hundreds early this morning.
Crews had to work for several hours to repair the damaged utility pole on Richards Boulevard near Sequoia Pacific and restore power after the hit and run crash just after 3:00am this morning.
Two employees of a neighboring business heard the crash but didn't see the driver.
"It was pretty loud. Pretty loud explosion," said Andrew Langloss who heard the crash. "It was just outrageous. Worse than lightning."
