I didn't write this, I wish I was talented enough to write anything but unfortunately I'm not. So I have to share poems others write!! smilie_daumenpos[1].gif This one is great, it really hit home!!

He walks through the door at the end of his day, just kisses his wife dosent have much to say. His brain is still tired from working lines hot, it's a lineman thing this tired brain he's got. From watching each move he's made all day long, and watching his buddy so nothing went wrong. High in the air they work hot primary, I've heard people say "that job's just too scary." With his fingers still wrinkled from wearing the gloves, he touches the face of the lady he loves. His boots feel so heavy as he unties the laces, there old, worn and dirty they've been many places. With his face in his hands he takes in a sigh, and thanks the good Lord today he did'nt die. With a thin rubber glove protecting his life, the Lord brought him home to be with his wife. Some say he's crazy to do the work that he does, he can't see the juice he can just hear it buzz. But he made it home safely and tonight he'll pray, that tomorrow God walks with him through one more day...

Just thought I'd share a wonderful poem!!!!

She's up at dark
Makes the hour drive to the shop
She loves her craft
But is it worth it
Puts in her 12 hours
Climbing poles, setting peds,
Finding troubles and driving over 3 counties
Only to make the hour drive home again
Once home she finds all that she missed
Her baby girl growing up, school, kisses and hugs
She passes her husband in the hall
Gives him a kiss and sends him off to work
They see each other on the weekends
But hardly knows each other at all
Sleep she doesn't get
Up for the last 30 in a 36 hour shift
She finally gets to sit down and ponders this
Is it worth it
